  • More Energy Sector Pump and Dump Nonsense now leveraging an AI Datacenter Near You!

    Take a look at https://www.entrepreneur.com/finance/this-pre-ipo-company-is-answering-ais-8000-energy-demand/502172.

This reeks of a green energy pump-and-dump play from the 2000s. Love to know if these guys did any of those kinds of deals back then too. Get investigative, Entrepreneur.com, before you promote this kind of crap, but then again, that would require the lost art of actual investigative reporting and doing some basic math…

The Matrix might have been prophetic! Humanities only use when AI becomes self aware, might very well be as batteries. Energy IS the limiting factor of AI.

It is why Trump and DOE are pushing new nuclear energy options, because its the only viable way we have forward with AI. Unless fusion is figured out, but I’m not holding my breath, probably NOT in my lifetime. But, it IS a PERFECT Storm to take advantage of energy sector ignorance to make some extremely QUICK bucks.

When Neo gets in the car for the first time and Stitch calls him “Copper Top“, (Duracell reference)missed that about the first 10 times I watched it. Guess with the proper product placement agreement, they could have gone with “Energizer Bunny” and played that off the Alice in Wonderland references, but I digress…

This was all after I realized that the Wachowski‘s as a family are BRILLIANT to see that and based one of the most popular movies of our lifetime on it. Dang, now that is VISION if I’ve ever seen it!

Here is a fun fact: If 100% of coal extraction in the USA was converted to liquid fuels, because that is fundamentally what these yahoos are saying they are innovators of—funny, I remember Germany and Japan using this technology in WWII—it would only displace 27% of USA crude oil consumption. Not so much in that 8,000% increase in energy output now, is it?

And… well, burning pulverized coal in boilers to convert it to steam for steam turbines is about 94% efficient with infrastructure well over 100 years old to make it happen, on the conversion to steam part, about 35% efficient on the conversion to watts part. A gasoline engine is about about 35% efficient in heat conversion, a large marine diesel can be as much as 50%, but throw in an extra heat/pressure step to make the liquid fuel from coal and those numbers go WAY down. Ah heat conversion, the true measure of all energy.

I didn’t do the math for the amount of coal extraction increase would be needed to make a drop in that 8000% bucket, but lets say these dudes have a tidy .00000001%, and that is generous, potentially locked up. Never mind its requires more heat and pressure to convert coal to liquid fuels than crude oil. As if by Magic, it will help make the difference. INVEST NOW! What a load of BS.

It’s kind of fundamentally why Germany and Japan lost the war. It is FUNDAMENTALLY why Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, because Roosevelt cut off their crude oil supply. Talk about STUPID on Japan’s part. We are going to attack you to try to get you to sell us hydrocarbons. Brilliant strategizing. (~Sarcasm~) This investment seems about as wise as Hirohito’s best on December 7, 1941. But lets not forget that hype aspect of the dump and pump playbook.

I remember all sorts of pre-IPO ethanol and biodiesel technology being touted as the savior of the energy problem. What it really turned out to be was a new market for Monsanto, now Bayer. They desperately needed a new market for the corn that NGOs were no longer taking because they realized they were creating welfare states. It was a LOT of corn that had no place to go. 15 Billion Tons a year or something like that if I remember correctly…

It was an OH SHIT moment if there ever was one for farming and, really more importantly, Monsanto, which really controlled it all anyway. Good ol’ California EPA, the best government corruption can buy, ensured corn ethanol’s place in the gasoline supply chain. Never mind it’s well proven that it takes 1.5 barrels of crude oil to make a barrel of corn ethanol.

In the middle of the night, without any studies on health and human effects, CEPA outlawed MTBE, which had been used as the octane booster in gasoline for well over a century. What was the perfect replacement? Corn ethanol! Give me a Gomer Pyle, “Surprise, surprise, surprise…

Corn ethanol will NEVER go in the pipeline, so it is hugely inefficient logistically. It is literally mixed at the fuel rack on the fuel on the road tanker that delivers fuel on the final leg to the gas station. What a SCAM! Its trained and trucked to the fuel rack, every other aspect of the cut of fuel, the parts that come from crude oil are pipelined.

It was GREAT for the corn lobby, who blew smoke up America’s butt with every viable lie they could to make corn ethanol seem like the savior of humanity. Detroit loved it too, because it helped destroy their engines faster, because Ethanol has WATER in it.

Detroit could build more cars because, for some unknown reason, the engines were failing. When mechanics made the world wise to ethanol destroying engines, Detroit utilized Metallurgy to accomplish the same goals, but again, I digress.

A marriage made in regulator capitalism heaven that fundamentally sets the stage for this kind of nonsense. I mean if the big boys can do it, why can’t we? Fair question actually…

PUMP AND DUMP AWAY! The PRICE IS RIGHT!
